So I don’t know about you guys but I am a big fan of the “jean jacket”! I know, I know, many of you give me a hard time because you say is “out of season” but I just can’t live my fashion life that way (wink). Wether it’s out of season or not I’m sticking to it! I covet the look of a simple outfit topped off with a good jean jacket wether is be a basic dress or pants and a tee. There is something about it that screams ALL AMERICAN to me! And with 4th of July around the corner how appropriate?!
I got this jacket from JCrew last year but don’t fret they still have it! Oh and even better is on SALE – here. I will admit that I looked long & hard for the ‘perfect jean jacket’. Let’s be honest here, some may look cheep, some may be the wrong coloring, some may look like you’re ready to hop on a motorcycle – and well those weren’t exactly the looks I was going for. So when I found this one at JCrew I was on cloud 9! It was a perfect fit, great length, and not too stiff. My sister (who is very very picky as well) also snatched one up for herself. I feel like a jean jacket is what I know to call an “investment piece”. We all have them and we all need them. Yes, they might cost you a little bit more up front but it is something you are going to have for a long time so it’s well worth the splurge! So with that said go on and splurge with your bad self! I have put a couple of jean jackets below that I feel are good buys & good prices. I will do a post later on of how many different ways I wear my jacket. What are your guys thoughts on jean jackets?
