It has been a whirl wind of a week but such a fun week! I had the best time at conference and now happy to be back with the family! I will be sharing an entire post about rStheCon – with what I learned, what it was like, and my overall experience (which was amazing)! I wanted to talk a little but about classic pieces in a mommas closet!
Good Dress + Denim Jacket = Classic Timeless Outfit
With mother’s day around the corner I’m super excited to share this look with you guys! I have this dress in pink as well here and love it but I have to say I’m loving the white the most! It also comes in black which I’ve been eyeing for awhile now! I think it would be perfect for the summer! Nordstrom has honestly had some of the cutest dresses lately! I’m loving the spring/summer trend of all the floral as well as the blush sticking strong! Nordstrom is always my first pick because of the vast selection they have! We will be going out to brunch for Mother’s Day with the kids so I wanted to find a casual yet dressy look! I’m planning on this dress along with a cute floral blazer here and call it good! Classics Staples in a Mommas Closet
I simply paired this outfit with a jean jacket and some strappy sandals that are a must for this summer! I wear this pair of sandals probably 3-4 days a week for couple reasons. 1. They are so comfortable even with the heel. 2. They go with everything but don’t appear as if you have tried too hard! Win! If you guys have been following me for awhile now you know that I love to take basic outfits and simply layer with the same pieces in different outfits.
Can we talk about denim jackets for a second.. I would put them right up there with a black leather jacket! They are a must especially in the summer. A white dress with a cute denim jacket is never, never going to go out of style! Even this weekend I saw a couple girls wearing the exact same outfit I just described and I instantly thought how adorable and timeless the look was!
