I have been into these high waisted skirts lately! I love how flattering they are and they length! They are appropriate for the work area or for church but still very sexy the way it comes in at the smallest part of your waist! I have out together a few of my favorite high waisted skirts that are floating around the www’s right now!

With these high waisted skirts I style them 1 of 2 ways:

1.) “The Tuck”: I will either take a “FITTED shirt” – FITTED being the key words friends! Fitted shirt because these skirts are “A Lined” and have a bottom that flairs out. They come together at the waist so you want to SHOW IT OFF- ow owww! If you have a flowy shirt on you will look like a plastic bag (do you ever feel like a plastic bag? Floating in the wind? yada yada yada – that will be you) Here’s a good rule of thumb: Tight on top = loose on bottom | Tight on bottom = loose on top. So long story short, I will tuck in a tight shirt and call it an afternoon!

OR

2.) “The Crop Top”: I will take a crop top and pair it with the high waisted skirt. This is a fun look for something more edgy. It is still flattering because you can see where you waist is. It is only slightly covered by the crop. Note: This is the look I’m wearing today!

Best of luck with your High Waisted Skirt ventures!
XOXO
