I know that fall is here but I honestly couldn’t resist this pink dress! As I talked about earlier often times I shy away from color but I am missing out! I grabbed this dress from Nordstrom awhile back and just now getting to it. I need to work on that. My husband does not understand why I have things hanging in my closet for weeks before I wear them. Boys, they don’t always get it. I am simply waiting for the right opportunity, the right mood, and of course the right accessories to make the combo just perfect. Even though I got this dress a couple weeks ago there are actually ones in Savvy right now that I like better and a selling for a better price. Yes, my friends that would be a win win!
I have also paired this dress with one of my all time favorite Kate Spade purse. But on top of this lavish color my favorite thing about this outfit would be my necklace from Bliss by Brooke Fitts! I am obsessed with this necklace & pretty much wear it with anything that has a little higher of a neckline. (WARNING: long tangent here) I have a very very long torso. So long that when my husband & I sit next to each other I look so much taller than him, although I’m not at all. With this I try to always wear something that has something with a lower neckline i.e. a v-neck or lower scoop neck. I do this because it proportions out my body a lot more. Now, there are times that I enjoy wearing things with higher neckline but when I do I almost always try to wear a longer necklace to elongate & proportion out again. It’s all about dressing for your body type which I’m excited to discuss in an upcoming post!
