We absolutely LOVE 4th of July around here! We celebrate this beautiful country we live in, spend time with family + friends, and eat one too many s’mores. I    wanted to round up some Fourth of July inspiration! Ranging from clothing to snack ideas and decor! I    also created a fun and simple bucket list to get us ready!

Fun 4th of July Bucket List!
On the 4th of July we love to do the same thing! We go to a parade in the morning follower by a day full of swimming! That night we come back and have a fun BBQ + play yard games. All ending with s’mores and laughs around the fire and Trevor almost lights the neighborhood on fire with the fireworks! I  love to make fun + easy treats for the day. I   always like them to be festive too! One is jello shots. Now we don’t drink so they are just little cups of jello but we love them and so do the kids. We only make them on the 4th so they are sentimental.

Jello Shots Recipe:

  1. Boil cup of water.
  2. Empty jello powder into a large mixing bowl and add the boiling water. (I do blue, white, and red) For the white get one box of unflavored gelatin and add a little splash of sweetened condensed milk.
  3. Continue stirring for two minutes or until the jello is completely dissolved.
  4. Add in the 1/2 cup of cold water
  5. Stir until mixed and pour into 2oz. cups filled 1/2 to 3/4 of the way.
