I love a good staycation! As much as I love to travel sometimes the thought of packing a huge bag, boarding a plane (with a 2 year old), and renting a car can be so overwhelming! Therefore, a “staycation” is right up my alley! I love love love The Grand America! I have been going there since I was a little girl and the charm never wears off! It is one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever seen but has this great ‘home’ feeling!
My sweet friends came in town for girls weekend & by baby shower (I will be posting about tomorrow) and we wanted to stay a night! The Grand America went above and beyond to make our girls weekend amazing! It was THE best night, full of laughs, yummy snacks from La Bonne Vie, and the pool/spa! Does it get any better? The next morning I woke up early to go down to the gym they have. I was so nice to get a quick workout in. They have a beautiful setup one of the best hotels gyms I’ve ever been to. After we then had breakfast at The Garden Cafe which is amazing! My husband & I go there often for brunch. It is one of our favorite spots! If you guys don’t have time to stay the weekend make sure you can visit The Garden Cafe, you won’t regret it! We then went shopping in the darling JouJou Toy Boutique! I grabbed Mason some fun toys that he loved! They also have a great women’s boutique that has great options & styles! We had to get home before we were able to go to Afternoon Tea but I have been with my sisters before and again I highly reccomend it! It is so classic & a great way to switch up the typically meeting for lunch!
Aside from every The Grand America has to offer I am in love with their rooms! They have a classic Victorian design and I always feel like royalty! One of my favorite things is their bathrooms! I love a good bathroom and The Grand America offers just that! They are so large beautifully covered in marble, and so inviting! The rooms also have balconies with amazing views of downtown Salt Lake.

All in all, we had an unforgettable time! The Grand America is one of my favorite places in Salt Lake City and a must for anyone around town or coming to visit!
