Blessing Day

We had McKay’s baby blessing this past weekend and it was just perfect. In our church, we bless our babies when they are younger. Trevor gave him a beautiful blessing of love and strength. We love our little guys so much it hurts! My wish is that he always knows how much we love him and how much his Father in Heaven loves him! We celebrated McKay with family and friends! Afterward, we had our family over for some yummy food, cuddles with McKay, and simply enjoying each others company.

For food, I got chicken and pork from Mo’Bettahs! If you guys are in Utah (I’m not sure if they have them outside of UT) it is a must eat! It was beyond yummy! Everyone had at least 2 plates it was delicious! So we did the chicken + pork, rice, fruit, potatoes, salad, and Italian Sodas! I will put everything I grabbed below for you guys! It was a simple meal but nothing was left over. The kids played on the bouncing house (best investment ever) we only take it out for special events I will link that below too. It was so fun to visit with our family!

Outfit Details

On my instastoires I’m sharing how we made the balloon arch! It was soon easy and fun to do with the kids. I’m linking everything I used below! The kids loved helping with it and it was just enough decorations. I decided to go with blue hydrangeas and they were stunning! Although, I’m not great at keeping them alive they were super pretty while they lasted. I’m wrapping it up with the outfit I wore linked below along with what I had McKay in for his blessing. I love for my babies to be cuddled and comfy. I saw this blessing outfit at a high-end boutique in SL and decided to wait and keep looking then I    found the exact dupe for a fraction of the price and had to get it! We are excited for the weekend and hope you guys have some fun plans!

Recipe for Italian sodas:

Fill your cup about an inch from the top with sparkling water, splash a little half+half in it, pour another shot of syrup in it – my favorite is raspberry, and do a quick mix. Top it off with whipped cream and enjoy! Always a hit at any party!
