NYFW Day 1

Day one of fashion week, year two was a total success! It started pretty rockily since our flight was MAJORLY delayed. I was in a bit of a panic because my day was totally booked with meetings and events and I didn’t want to be late on the first day. Luckily, we made it work and Iw as able to make everything! There is such an amazing energy in the air during fashion week and I am totally taking advantage of it! My first stop was to one of my favorite pr companies that I have been working with for years. The girls there are so sweet and kind, I can’t enough of them! I work with them to learn about new companies and products and create collaborations! They have this thing called a “beauty closest”, I think it’s the closest thing to heaven I’ve ever seen… NO JOKE! It’s wall to wall with the most amazing products, ever!

After that super fun experience, I did a photo shoot around the city. This was great because we got some really great shots but ohhhh my, it was H O T. If you watched my Instagram stories, then you saw me totting around my suitcase. Yup, I wheeled that thing around the city for hours to get some cool shots. I worked up such a sweat that of course, we ended up at Shake Schack. I’m sure you’ve heard of this place before. It has the yummiest burgers and cheesy fries ever. I’m a total fry girl, guilty!

If you’ve never heard of Henri Bendel, they are a company that you mUST look up. They have the most adorable accessories, bags, great smelling perfumes and more. We had the opportunity to go to one of their parties and I feel so lucky! I loved being able to mix and mingle with someone amazing designers and bloggers! Networking is so important in this business and it makes it so easy when you’re surrounded by genuine and kind people that want to help you succeed!

To top off our busy day, my sister and I made our way to Eataly. It’s a cafe and a market that has the most wonderful food in the world! It’s a place to eat, shop and learn. It’s always one of my favorite spots to hit while I’m in the city. They have the best pizza, pasta and a huge variety of different olive oils that I love to stock up on and bring home with me!
