Disney go-tos

Top 8 favorite things to do while at Disney

1. Beignets– These little things are in my opinion better than the churros at Disney! They are powder sugar coated dough bits in the shape of Mickey Mouse! Yupppp, amazing, right?! You can find them at the Jazz Kitchen which is in downtown Disney, the Mint Julep bar which is around the corner from the Haunted Mansion (close to the train), and at Ralphs Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen (this is also a super yummy place for dinner!!). Make sure if you want to eat there to get reservations in advance. They have a live jazz band and offer an amazing variety of food on their menu.

2. Minnie & friends – breakfast in the park– We’ve done the breakfast with the characters a few times now and the babies absolutely love it and who can resist the Mickey waffles? This is a staple in all the different character breakfasts that are offered around the park. This is also something you need to book in advance. Tables fill up fast! Learn more about is HERE.

3. Fast passes are on easy buy (app)-The best $10 you’ll spend while you’re at Disney. By downloading the Disney app and linking your ticket to the app, you’re able to quickly get fast passes and get on rides much faster than waiting in the long lines! Trust me, this is so worth it! Check out the details HERE.

4. Disneyland Railroad- If you never knew about the train ride in Disney, now you do! It takes you around the whole entire Disneyland park and is quite relaxing, especially when you’re at the park with little kids! There are several spots to hop on and off the train. It’s quiet, relaxing and still enjoyable for the kids. In my opinion, it’s one of the best attractions in the park, lol! Secretly, I need a break in between the nonstop running around and churro eating, this is a GREAT option if you want to take a breather but not bore the kids! More details, HERE!

5. Games of Pixar Pier- There’s something about carnival games that get my sister and I going! We’re super competitive, so we will NOT stop playing until we win that big fluffy toy for the babies. You’ll probably get a good glimpse of what I’m talking about in my stories next week! To play the games, you’ll have to purchase a special play card with prepaid credits at a dispensing machine located by the booths! This is a fun alternative to all the big and wild rides. It’s perfect for the kids that aren’t quite big enough to ride the big rides but still want to enjoy their time. A great distraction while another kid slips away to go enjoy the big rides! (CLearly, I know this from personal experience!) You can read more about all the games they have HERE!

6. Jedi Training- This is Mason’s absolute favorite part of Dinsey. This is a 25-minute training course where kids can learn the basic skill to become a Jedi! The coolest part of it all is that Darth Cader comes out at the end and all the little tinies get to have a lightsaber battle with him. This is located near Space Mountain and is a great option if you’re looking for a place to sit and relax. There are also several food options around this area! Put your feet up and enjoy the show! More details HERE!

7. Meet Disney Princesses at The Royal Hall- This experience is the equivalent of every little girl’s dream! You get to meet Disney princesses and dress up like one too! It’s an unforgettable make-believe experience, for your princess! There are usually up to 3 princesses at each time! Your kids are welcome to take pictures and get autographs from their favorite Dinsey characters. More details HERE!

8. Bengal Barbeque -This is hands down our absolute favorite place to grab bite to eat in the park! It is right across from Indiana Jones and it is always crowded. If you’re looking for something super yummy and somewhat healthy (veggies and meat) this is a GREAT spot! They offer a variety of meat and veggie skewers. Spicy or sweet beef, chicken, bacon-wrapped asparagus or fresh vegetables. View the menu HERE!
